there are times when the kindest person you know can be the scariest asshole

...because we are a self-destructible bipedal primate with limited amount of patience. and we have that detonation switch inside us. a switch that will eventually be pushed by certain people who are given permission to. the question is: do we know who's worth enough to hold the switch? and as scary as it be, are we worth enough to hold anyone's?

i remember an old wisdom saying that "it's not the people who change, it's the mask that falls off." and suppose a mask suites that idiom perfectly,
do you still want to look what's inside the mask?
do you still care to see?

demons run when a good man goes to war
night will fall and drown in sun
when a good man goes to war
friendship dies and true love lies
night will fall and the dark will rise
when a good man goes to war
demons run but count the cost
the battles won but the child is lost
